### Landing in your Course Lobby

Every card on the Course Lobby is a course. Clicking anywhere on the card — not just the title — opens its Assignments page.

1. If you use the LTI integration, it will place you directly into the course where you opened the LTI. \
   \
   If it was your first time launching that course via the LTI, we will create the course for you.
2. If you are launching via the API (using the subdomain URL), it will place you into the Course Lobby. You may need to import the course if you have not already.
   {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Importing your first course, your second course...

If you have not imported your course, the Course Lobby will be blank. You will need to click on the Import button to bring the course you want into TimelyGrader.

1. With ‘**Select Course’** option, simply select the course you want to import from the dropdown and import! \
   \
   You will be able to open up a drop-down and select the course you are interested in using TimelyGrader to import. \
   \
   After that, you can begin importing assignments for TimelyGrader to start help you with grading!

{% hint style="info" %}
If you are an instructional designer or Admin, this option may take a long time to load because of the amount of courses you have access to. Instead, use the ‘Course ID’ option.
{% endhint %}

2. With the **‘Course ID’** option, you will be asked to enter your Canvas course ID which can be found in the URL of the Canvas Course. \
   \
   Example: in the Canvas course URL below, ‘222’ is the Course ID.

{% endstep %}

### Switch between grid and list view

Grid shows the colour cover and name, which suits a handful of courses. List drops the cover and shows you more courses at a time, so more fits on screen once the term fills up. It's up to your preference!
