# What students see

Knowing the student side helps you anticipate the questions you’ll get.

## Before you start

* Feedback has been released. Nothing reaches a student before you confirm the submission.
* Their view only shows their own work. A student never sees another student’s record.

### Their course list

Students see only the courses they’re enrolled in. Drafts are invisible; only published work appears.

1. Work is ordered by due date.

### Coursework

Everything they need to do is under Coursework: assignments, quizzes, oral quizzes and oral defenses, each with its due date, points and status.

### Reading feedback

Completed work shows the feedback you released. Comments quote the sentence they refer to, so students can jump straight to the passage.
